We'd love to have you join us!
The LGCW welcomes new members -- both singing and non-singing. Singers need no auditions, only a love of music and a willingness to work with the group as it increases its musical knowledge. We also ask that you join the LGCW at the beginning of a concert semester so your voice can be part of the development of our overall ensemble sound. Every voice matters. The LGCW sponsors an Open House before each semester. Open House meetings are great for getting answers to your questions.
Singing Members
If you decide to sing in the chorus, you may elect to meet with the Music Director for a voice check. The purpose of the optional voice check is to ascertain the range of your voice. This helps you decide what voice part you are the most comfortable singing. Returning singers may also elect to have a voice check with the Music Director.
Volunteers -“Hey everyone! Let’s put on a show!”
If only it were that easy. Producing a chorus event often requires marketing, selling tickets, making props, lighting, ushering and - you get the idea. We need volunteers to make it all happen.
If you don’t like to sing or just don’t have the time for regular rehearsals, please consider becoming a chorus volunteer.
