The incomparably beautiful gardens at D.C.'s Hillwood Museum provide the perfect setting for this community performance. Several selections from our June 22 concert will be featured.
The event is free and open to the public.
Capital Pride, Sunday, June 15, 3PM
Every year we look forward to performing at DC's Capital Pride Festival! We'll be at the Arts Corner, performing at about 3:00 pm. Stop by our booth to learn more about singing and volunteering.

Sat. May 31, 8:00PM - DANGEROUS MOOD Concert at the Church of the Epiphany (13th and G St.'s NW) - Suede with Janice Friedman and the Dangerous Band, horns and all! This inaugural celebration features the entire Dangerous Big Band, headed up by the brilliant Janice Friedman, Suede's trio, and the 9 piece horn section! So far, this is the only chance to see the whole band live. Buy your tickets here.
Sun. June 1, 11:30AM-1:30PM - Brunch with Suede at the Starfish Cafe! (539 8th Street SE) $75 a ticket (of which $45 is tax-deductible) for the brunch alone, or $85 for the Brunch and Shop With Suede combo. Buy your tickets here.
Sun. June 1, 4:00PM - Shop With Suede at St.'s Monica and James Episcopal Church (222 8th St. NE) - An intimate concert with Suede and a chance to bid on great auction items. It's our big fund raiser of the year! Enjoy the talents of the lovely Suede while supporting the chorus. $25 per person (not tax-deductible), includes food and libations. Buy your tickets here Note: The church is a short walk from the Starfish Cafe - just down 8th street.
The LGCW proudly presents the pop/jazz artist, Suede. Suede, one of the nation’s best jazz vocalists, entertains our many wonderful supporters at the LGCW’s annual Shop With Suede fundraiser.
Start your Sunday with a scruptuous Brunch with Suede at the Starfish Cafe. Space is limited, so early reservations are suggested!
Enjoy the brunch and then stroll to St.'s Monica and James Episcopal Church's for Shop With Suede (passing unique and fun shops and the famous DC Eastern Market on your way). Auction items include weekend getaways, adventurous dining, tickets to area shows, and many other treats! The church's Parish Hall provides a unique setting for Suede's silky, sultry, bluesy, and jazzy music. This year Suede's personal donation is one of her guitars which will be played at Sunday's event. She will sign and personalize it for the highest bidder! Bring your checkbook!
But wait. There's so much more! Suede's new CD, DANGEROUS MOOD has its official release on Saturday May 31 in Washington DC! LGCW is proud to be co-producing this concert along with Easily Suede Music. The beautiful historic pre-civil war Church of the Epiphany (13th and G St.'s NW ) is a perfect location for a great evening of music. The church (well known for its Tuesday Concert Series program) is easy to get to via METRO (METRO Center Station), or you can drive and park in the garage across the street. Nearby are many of DC's great hotels and restaurants.
